Responding to 700,000 displaced people ... Continuing to support them
Watan Field System teams continue to provide support and humanitarian assistance to the displaced people rural Aleppo and Idlib. This work was done as part of the emergency response campaign, which launched at the beginning of this year, in an attempt to secure the necessary needs for the displaced due to the recent campaign in the region, who numbered about 700 thousand civilians.
The field teams distributed nearly 7000 non-food items basket to the displaced in 23 regions and camps in northern Syria, and installed 530 tents in 6 areas for the displaced in rural Aleppo and Idlib.
As part of the water and sanitation program the Watan engineering teams have leveled about 2,000 tents in the Kalli camps in northern Syria, with the aim of protecting the tent from drowning in the winter and from insects and rodents in the summer.
