Civil Defense Female Members Stand Against GBV

Watan organized a special training package for female workers in the Civil Defense in Idlib under the title "gender-based violence" where 7 groups of 22 female trainees were trained in WATAN office in Hazano, Idlib countryside with the aim to provide knowledge and necessary skills to present immediate support for survivors of domestic and social abuse in accordance with standard operating procedures for domestic abuse.

Training coincided with 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence campaign which begins on the 25 November and ends on 10th December of each year.
