Job Summary

    The Engagement Manager plays a key role in efficiently setting up and coordinating project teams upon donor agreement signings. This position involves collaborating with the donor relations manager for multisectoral project management and overseeing project team coordination until the handover to the new project manager.

Position Requirements

    1. Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
    • Proven experience in project initiation and management.
    1. Task-specific Skills:
    • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed project files, including executive plans, financial outlines, job descriptions, recruitment announcements, and procurement initiation.
    1. Administrative Competency:
    • Establish and implement effective administrative workflows to support project operations.
    1. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with relevant stakeholders.
    • Experience in donor communication and reporting.
    1. Team Coordination:
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal departments for effective team formation and collaboration.
    1. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Experience in formulating and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans to assess project progress and impact.

Responsibility

    1. Project Initiation and Resource Completion:
    • Ensure the proper launch of projects by finalizing both human and technical project resources.
    • Establish modern project files, including executive plans, financial outlines, job descriptions, recruitment announcements, procurement initiation, and comprehensive project plans.
    1. Administrative Workflow and Communication:
    • Develop and implement administrative workflows to streamline project operations.
    • Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders and foster positive relationships.
    1. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Donor Communication:
    • Formulate monitoring and evaluation plans to assess project progress and impact.
    • Regularly communicate with donors to provide updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
    1. Project Team Coordination:
    • Assist in the formation of project teams by coordinating with internal departments within the organization.
    • Ensure on-the-ground activities align with the established project plan.
