    WATAN is looking for a Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Officer plays a crucial role in attracting, evaluating, and onboarding qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. 
    She/He is responsible for implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing the full recruitment life cycle, and fostering positive candidate experiences.

    Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Officer responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers. We'd like to meet you if you have experience evaluating candidates for roles in various fields and seniority levels.

    Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience, understanding WATAN’s needs, and building relationships.

Position Requirements

    • Education Degree: Bachelor’s degree  in human resources, business, or a related field
    • Languages: Fluent in English (strong written and verbal skills), Arabic and Turkish are plus
    • 3 years of experience as a Recruitment Officer or similar HR role
    • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook ..etc
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
    • Good understanding of Turkish labor law.
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solver
    • Good decision-making skills
    • Strong ethical standards
    • Additional HR education and certification will be a plus
    • Turkish nationality .

    • 1. Planning : 
      Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans.
      Maintain up-to-date and accurate recruitment plan in order to be able to prioritize staffing needs.
      2. Talent Sourcing:
      Utilize diverse channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract a pool of high-quality candidates.
      Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to address both current and future staffing requirements at Watan.
      Actively engage in networking events and industry conferences to position Watan as an employer of choice.
      Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
      Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
      Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

      3. Recruitment Process Management:

      Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from crafting compelling job descriptions to extending offers.
      Conduct comprehensive candidate screening, interviews, and assessments, ensuring alignment with Watan’s values and job requirements.
      Collaborate closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and priorities.

      4. Candidate Relationship Management:
      Cultivate positive relationships with candidates, providing timely and constructive feedback.
      Maintain transparent communication with candidates regarding the status of their applications.
      Uphold Watan's positive and professional employer brand throughout the recruitment process.
      Oversee all administrative arrangements relating to the recruitment and selection process such as: 
      Prepare interview packs
      Screen resumes and job applications
      Create and publish job ads in various portals
      Arrange tests (such as pre-employment checks) and criminal checks
      Send out rejection letters based on interview panel findings and line manager to give candidates proper feedback regarding growth opportunities and gaps
      Sift/Screen Shortlist applications according to job requirements
      Forward all shortlisted applications to Line Managers for further shortlisting
      Interview the selected candidates following the recruitment process to shortlist for interview 2
      Prepare all hiring documents 
      5. Employer Branding:
      Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding strategies to position Watan as an employer of choice.
      Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create compelling job descriptions and promotional materials.
      Showcase Watan’s unique culture and values to attract top-tier talent.
      6. Onboarding:
      Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary for a successful integration into Watan.
      Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to coordinate orientation sessions and training programs.
