Job Summary

    Managing and supervising one project in Turkey -  Hatay 
    He/She will be responsible for overall project management and ensuring that project objectives/ implementation are on track/budget as planned, ensure implementation and documentation according to donor/partner/other stakeholder compliance requirements, and assist in program development.

Position Requirements

    • Bachelor degree on Civil engeneer / Business Management/social sciences.
    • Minimum 3-4 years professional experience leading, managing, and implementing SHELTER , WASH and NFI projects.
    • Turkish Nationality (essential)
    • PMP/PMD-Pro Certified (highly preferable).
    • Ability to communicate effectively with others
    • Ability to represent the organization image in professional manner.
    • Commitment to humanitarian relief standards,
    • High level of organizing skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, remote management, and planning skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently,
    • Ability to create new relations with active players in field.
    • High level of flexibility to adapt to new environment, handle work load,
    • High level of problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Very good report writing skills.
    • Leadership skills,
    • Very Good computer skills (MS office)

Responsibility

    • Supervise the project team and liaise with logistics, MEAL, Safety and Security, HR…. etc., and all stakeholders from WATAN regarding project activities implementation.
    • Maintain updated project human resources, structure, and team capacity-building plans.
    • Maintain updated and accurate implementation plan.
    • Maintain the project team's administrative routine.
    • Maintain updated and accurate budget monitoring tools and develop and monitor project budget and expenditures.
    • Develop, monitor, and implement project work plans according to project outputs.
    • Oversee timely preparation of relevant programme documentation for approval from Gaziantep programme  and finance teams, including payment planning documents, beneficiary signature lists, Payment Approval Forms
    • Prepare and document the project files and ensure sound administrative practices regarding record keeping, compliance with donor/partner regulations, communications, etc.
    • Ensure securing the project documents updated and shared on the online drive (SharePoint).
    • Ensure that program/project goals and plans are implemented on time, within budget, and according to donor/partner/other stakeholder compliance requirements.
    • Maintain high-quality standards of implementation within the project.
    •  Ensure overall responsibility for the project's progress.
    • Maintain updated and accurate budget monitoring tools and develop and monitor project budget and expenditures.
    • Ensure availability of technical references of the project.
    • Follow up and coordinate with clusters.
    • Strive for project sustainability.
    • Assist in the writing of proposals, provide technical input, writing and budgetary input for new program design.
    • Stay up to date with all regional and country-specific response plans by the U.N., donors active actors.
    • Frequent travel to the field to attend project sites and provide support to the team as needed.
