Job Summary

    The primary job of a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager is to ensure that WATAN’s standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s development and execution. PMO Manager is responsible for overseeing the work of all project management office personnel, and thus must take ownership of the resulting quality of each project.

Position Requirements

    Project Management Office Manager Skills:

    Successful PMO Manager display strong analytical and problem-solving. He /She should be detail-oriented team leaders who can consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed. Computer and interpersonal skills are necessary.

     PMO Manager must be able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work groups/ project. In addition to these skills, it is important that PMO Manager display the following capabilities:

    • Typically, a solid project / program manager.
    • Real experience of project delivery.
    • Pragmatic.
    • Trustworthy / honest.
    • Very good stakeholder skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills.
    • Strong leadership.
    • Ability to perform under pressure.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibility

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Oversee, identify plan deviations and recommend resolution for project manager.
    • Create and execute internal controls and offer Internal Auditor services to assure controls.
    • Recommend and execute corrective actions to handle project compliance.
    • Make sure that all processes related to a project’s completion are carried out in the most efficient and effective manner while simultaneously upholding a given set of standards.
    • Improve new and pre-existing processes, continually reevaluate whether each project is meeting the applicable standards .
    • Ensure the accurate completion of projects documents.
    • Ensure alignment to strategy.
    • Create working relationships with programs and projects managers.
    • Overall risk management to identify themes.
