Job Summary

    HR Officer will develop, advise on and implement policies relating to the effective use of staff in an organisation.

    S/he will be responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

    The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
     

Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or any related field.
    • 3 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role
    • Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, onboarding, evaluation, training & development, ... etc.
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solver
    • Good decision-making skills
    • Strong ethical standards
    • Additional HR education and certification will be a plus

Responsibility

    • Being actively involved in field recruitment by advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, taking references, completing employment files, preparing the employment contract, and on-boarding.
    • Ensure that personnel files are complete and managed in a confidential manner.
    • Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures.
    • Update the Organograms as required for field offices and ensure proper procedure of revising organograms is in place.
    • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
    • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements including but not limited to attendance, timesheet, master data, and payroll.
    • Prepare payroll list on a monthly basis and share the information with Head Office on time for preparation of payrolls.
    • Receive all new staff and interns and support them to complete all HR forms and issue them with identification cards.
    • Monitor probation periods of staff and do reminders to sectors and ensure confirmation forms are submitted on time.
    • Receive resignation letters from staff and advise staff on the clearing process.
    • Implementation of HR policies and procedures
    • Preparing monthly leave status reports and submitting to HR Manager
    • Handle leave queries from staff and sectors appropriately
    • Analysing training needs, develop training and development Plans.
    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
    • Support in developing staff handbook
    • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues including promotion and benefits.
    • Any other task assigned by the direct supervisor
