Provides outpatient care for children according to international protocols, values and universal hygiene standards as defined in the project objectives.
Reports hierarchically to the Field coordinator and functionally to the Medical Team Leader.

Provide children with health care and Medical activities related to.
Examine children regularly to assess their growth and development.
Treat children who have minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in infants and children.
Advise patients, parents or guardians, and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
Works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and participates in ongoing staff training (care techniques, updating protocols etc.)
Provides first aid Emergency care for patients with medical emergencies consulting and referral as necessary.
Participates in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data (medical statistics), checking its validity
Monitor and inform about the type of pathologies, abnormal increases in the number of consultations as well as any epidemic potentials.
Inform line manager about any possible serious problem or complication, ex. worsening of state of patients, problems in medicines, etc.
Inform line manager of any problems that might be linked to the work of doctors as well as problematic equipment or material (ex. broken, missing).
Look after all equipment provided.
Ensure that no material is taken out of doctors’ area without prior authorization.
Keep an updated inventory of all material and equipment used and ask in advance for all renewable material needed.
