We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create the overall look, feel and functionality of a website. His/her work should provide users with a beautiful and purposeful web interface, encourage them to click around, allow them to engage rapidly and take the appropriate action our organization intends. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the site runs efficiently and can function on all devices. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. He/she should also have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and functional designs.

• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject
• Good experience as a web designer
• Ability to create and modify suitable templates
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies

• Plans site design by clarifying goals and designing functionality 
• Front end design and programming for the websites and apps 
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Upgrade website by updating content and graphics, monitoring performance and results, identifying and evaluating improvement options, introducing new technology and maintaining links
• Maintain site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards and editing submissions
• Develop website content and graphics by coordinating with marketing and design teams, designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
