In 2012, WATAN began its first humanitarian programming in North Syria. Since then Watan’s programs have expanded to both sides of the border (Turkey and Syria) and include a wide variety of activities such as: FSL, WASH, Protection, Education, Health..etc. WATAN M&E officer will work under the direct supervision of the Knowledge Management team leader with technical reporting lines to the Information management officers. WATAN M&E officer will be 100% dedicated to work in the field with WATAN projects’ staff in the implementation of Watan KMU plan according to program requirements. He/She will be responsible for the day to day monitoring and evaluation of activities of WATAN projects. The position requires an in depth understanding of the various monitoring and evaluation needs of Humanitarian programming. S/he will work closely alongside with WATAN program staff to support program quality and transparency identifying issues, challenges, gaps to be responded in time. WATAN M&E field officer will work closely with WATAN volunteers and Gaziantep-based KMU team and Program teams.
