Job Summary

    Ensure timely, effective and high quality implementation of WASH activities, including construction of water and sanitation infrastructure. According to high quality and appropriate Environmental Health standards.

Position Requirements

    • Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering on Civil/Environmental engineering or any Related specialization.
    • Minimum Two-year professional experience in design and implementation of water, sanitation and hygiene projects in development contexts.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
    • Ability to lead others,
    • Ability to represent the organization image in professional manner.
    • Commitment to humanitarian relief standards,
    • Organizing/planning skills.

    • Produce technical drawings (if assigned) and bills of quantities for water and sanitation infrastructure,
    • Prepare procurement documents and liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery of quality materials,
    • Supervise and monitor construction on site, and provide regular reports of progress in the field,
    • Participate in community mobilization and hygiene promotion activities as necessary,
    • Conduct site inspections and report deviations from material and work specifications,
    • Ensure implementation of donor/partner/Khayr requirements, reports, and documentation.
    • Attend material deliveries and ensure compliance with contracted specifications.
    • Work closely with agencies and organizations in the related areas for collaboration,
    • Perform any other tasks under the guidance of the direct supervisor.
