The Training Officer will work with the Project Manager to implementation for Special training in the olive sector including follow-on activities, and logistics, and Coaching of olive mills staff on marketing and exploring new markets.
Position Requirements
Certificate – business management.
Certificate in Project management (PMP) is plus.
3 years' experience in Humanitarian work.
1-year experience in capacity building.
Previous experience in management and planning capacity building projects.
Facilitating training and workshops before.
Providing training session.
Good understanding of WATAN's aims.
BA in business management or any relevant education.
Excellent MS Excel skills.
Excellent organizational and teamwork skills required.
Excellent communication skills, oral as well as written.
Excellent written English and Arabic communication skills.
Participatory and interactive approach.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
Responsibility
Support the Project manager in capacity building projects in agricultural and Olives areas.
Work with the Project Manager in providing training support where needed.
Build relevant relationships with stakeholders where projects are implemented.
Taking the lead in implementing the capacity bundling projects, day-to-day follow-up and reporting.
Coordinate with other WATAN programs to insert their training workshops in the general training calendar.
Prepare ToR for each training and trainer.
Make invitation for new training workshops.
Arrange and facilitate events including, pre-training stakeholders and debriefing meetings with WATAN and their participants.
Ensure all training, follow-up and activity logistics, and financial arrangements are made.
